  1. PURPOSE OF POLICY. As part of the normal operations of the Site’s services, we collect and, in some cases, disclose information about you. Trimarc Security, LLC (“us,” “we,” or “Trimarc”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of visitors to and users of the website located at https://www.trimarcsecurity.com, https://www.trimarcvision.com and https://www.trimarcinsight.com (the “Site”). This document discloses the privacy practices for the Site owned and operated by Trimarc ("Privacy Policy"). This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect about you and what may happen to that information. By accepting the Website Terms and Conditions of Use you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personally identifiable information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the Terms of Use.
     

  2. OTHER SITES EXCLUDED. This Policy is only applicable to the Site and the Service. This Policy does not apply to any other websites that you may be able to access from the Site, each of which may have data collection and use practices and policies that differ materially from this Policy, nor does it apply to any services that may be offered by our business partners, where your personally identifiable information is collected by anyone other than Trimarc.
     

  3. MINORS. If you are a minor, you can use this Site only with your parents or guardians. If you are a minor, please do not submit any personal information. IF YOU ARE 13 YEARS OR YOUNGER, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SITE OR ANY OF ITS SERVICES FOR ANY PURPOSE AT ANY TIME. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a Site user is under age 13, we will promptly delete any personal information that might be stored on that user.
     

  4. DISCLAIMER REGARDING SITE CONTENTS. We have created this Site and the Service for the purpose of providing products, services, news, and information that we believe will educate and benefit our users, and while we are always doing our best to monitor the information on this Site and to update the Site regularly, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, currency, reliability or completeness of any information or material included here, or on any site accessible from here. We expect that you will use your own skill and care in using the Site and purchasing any products or services that may be available from the Site. In order to use the Site and the Service, you must review and agree to our Terms of Use, which include this Policy and which also include important terms regarding the materials that we make available on the Site and through the Service.

INFORMATION COLLECTION PRACTICES
 

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

  1. In operating the Site and providing the Service, we may collect a variety of user-submitted information such as names, email addresses, and other contact information, in order to enable ecommerce transactions, to facilitate business relations to collect job applicant information, and to send information and notices to our users regarding the Site and the Service. In addition, we may provide registration forms, application forms, and other online forms that ask users to provide their names, e-mail addresses, mobile phone numbers and other contact information, as well as information related to the subject matter of the activities requiring registration or the surveys. Also, if you communicate with us by e-mail or otherwise complete online forms, surveys, any information provided in such communication may be collected as personal information.

  2. We may sometimes use other third parties to perform certain services for us, such as maintaining the Site and our e-mail services and processing inquiries. We may provide Personal Information to those businesses when that information is necessary for them to complete a requested transaction or otherwise perform their duties. Trimarc will take reasonable steps to ensure that these third-party service providers are obligated to protect Personal Information on Trimarc’s behalf. Trimarc will not sell or share your Personal Information with any unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes. In the event that Trimarc or all of its assets are acquired, all of the data collected by Trimarc through the Site and through other means and services provided by Trimarc would be among the transferred assets. We reserve the right to disclose such information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other visitors, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. We also reserve the right to disclose such information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

WHAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

  1. AUTOMATIC COLLECTION. Our servers automatically recognize visitors’ IP addresses. No personal information about you is revealed in this process. The Site may also gather anonymous “traffic data” that does not personally identify you, but that may be helpful for marketing purposes or for improving the services we offer.
     

  2. COOKIES. From time to time, we may use the standard “cookies” feature of major browser applications that allows us to store a small piece of data on your computer about your visit to the Site. Cookies are small files that can be used to track a user's steps or automatically generate a user's password. We do not set any personally identifiable information in cookies, nor do we employ any data capture mechanisms on the Site other than cookies. Cookies help us learn which areas of the Site are useful and which areas need improvement. You can choose whether to accept cookies by changing the settings on your browser. However, if you choose to disable this function, your experience at the Site may be diminished and some features may not work as they were intended.
     

  3. Your Usage of Our Site. We automatically track certain information about your usage of our Site. We use this information to conduct internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand and serve our users. This information is compiled and analyzed on an aggregate anonymized basis. This information may include the URL that you just came from, which URL you next go to, and what browser you are using.
     

  4. Your Correspondence. If you send us e-mails, letters or other personal correspondence, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Site, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.
     

USE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION

  1. WHAT DO WE DO WITH COLLECTED INFORMATION?
    Promotional Use. We use personal information about you to enhance our marketing and promotional efforts, and to improve our content and services. We may also use your information to deliver to you advertisements, new services and promotions, and other information to you that is targeted to your interests.

  2. Administrative Notices, etc. On an opt-in basis, we use your e-mail address, your mailing address, and phone number to contact you regarding administrative notices, new product offerings, and communications relevant to your use of the Site. If you do not wish to continue receiving these communications, you have the ability to opt out.

  3. Dispute Resolution. We use information in the file we maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your current and past activities on the Site, to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and enforce our User Agreement.
     

  4. OUR DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES. We use practices that are consistent with standards in the industry to protect your privacy. We cannot, however, promise that your personally identifiable information or private communications will remain private. For example, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. We do not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about you to any third party. It is the policy of Trimarc and the Site to release users' personal identifying information and any other information when Trimarc or the Site reasonably believes such disclosure is appropriate to comply with applicable law, to enforce any of our contracts or agreements, to protect the rights, property or safety of our users and customers, in response to a governmental authority request or to legal process, or for purposes of fraud protection.
       

    2. Advertisers. We may disclose aggregate information about our users to advertisers and for other marketing and promotional purposes. However, we do not disclose any personally identifying information to any of these entities.
       

    3. Third Party Suppliers. We may use third party suppliers to assist us in providing the services available on our Site. Your data may be subject to their data policies. We do not permit our third party suppliers to sell your information to other third parties.
       

  5. THIRD PARTY WEBSITES. The Site may contain links to other websites. If you choose to visit other websites, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those other websites, and it is your responsibility to review the privacy policies at those websites to confirm that you understand and agree with their policies. In addition, in no event will we have any responsibility for the contents of those other websites, and you visit and use those websites entirely at your own risk.
     

  6. SECURITY. Trimarc, the Site and the Service have security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you, but we make no assurances about our ability to prevent any such loss, misuse, or alteration, and we and our owners, partners and affiliates will have no liability to you or to any third party arising out of any such loss, misuse, or alteration.
     

  7. UPDATES AND CHANGES. We reserve the right, at any time, to add to, change, update, or modify this Policy, simply by posting such change, update, or modification on the Site and without any other notice to you. Any such change, update, or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. It is your responsibility to review this Policy from time to time to ensure that you continue to agree with all of its terms.
